The review
Is it actually worth it?
The asymmetric optics point the light down at the desk and keyboard rather than back into the eyes, which is the entire point of this category of lamp. A CRI above 95 means colors on paper (or on a physical slide) read accurately under it, not tinted.
It clips onto most monitor tops without extra hardware, and the wireless remote means brightness and warmth adjust without reaching behind the screen mid-session.
Pros
- No screen glare by design
- High color accuracy (CRI >95)
- USB-C powered, works off almost any port
Cons
- Clip fits standard monitor thicknesses only
- Wireless remote is one more thing to keep track of
Ideal for: Late-session desk work — reading, writing reports, reviewing images — without adding screen glare or eye strain.
